Crew Workers are responsible for performing maintenance of grounds for industrial, commercial, residential and public properties as directed by crew leader. Responsibilities include: operating various mowing, trimming and edging equipment, performing various labor functions including: mulching, planting, cleanup etc. Ideal candidates will have previous industry experience, a commitment to deliver quality workmanship, and a strong work ethic. Great pay, benefits, and opportunities exist for training and growth! Must be able to pass pre-employment screening and be able to lift at least 50lbs routinely. Hours are typically 40-45 per week.
Directly supervises and coordinates the activities of crew workers on the maintenance of grounds for industrial, commercial, residential or public properties and other installation/enhancement activities by performing the following duties personally or through crew members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable procedures. Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; escalates complaints or issues to management.
Estimator is responsible for producing accurate and timely bid estimates for the Company. Primary focus in on estimates for maintenance contracts, but also works on new installation projects. Ensures estimates are produced timely and accurately in order for the sales department to meet deadlines/commitments. Responsible for staying abreast of product, supply and sub-contractor prices as well as the Company’s operating production capabilities to ensure accurate estimates. Position negotiates pricing with vendors, subcontractors, performs site assessments and makes decisions on how to adjust price based upon circumstances of site or project. Performs all aspects of bidding process, including: measuring properties, reviewing invitations to bid, conducting pre-site inspections, accessing plans and preparing estimates.
